    Eternal Life

    Date  /  2024

This enchanting stool sculpture is grounded on a simple black wooden cube. From its rigid, charred depths emerges a surprising burst of life, manifesting in the form of dynamic green and earthy brown pom-poms and clusters of textured yarn.

These organic shapes spill from the crevices, evoking a sense of nature reclaiming its territory. The contrast is striking—the cube’s scorched wood grain texture signals destruction or dormancy, while the wool growth signifies resilient and thriving life.

The piece symbolizes rebirth and the enduring power of nature against human-made or natural desolation, prompting reflection on the cycles of environmental ruin and regeneration.
