The Style:Rococo is an ornate style originating in France in the 18th century andevolving from the Baroque style (”Baroque gone mad,” some wouldquip).
Rococo is applied to the Louis XV period in France (1715 - 1774)The word is derived from “rocaille” (pebble), but the term referred especially to the small stones and shells or shell forms were the principal motifs in Rococo ornament.

The Table:I did my table almost all by hand except of the engraving on the top of the table. The legs are the most complicated part of the table, I glued two pieces of wood together to make it thick enough and then use the saw to cut the cruves out by hand, finally make the shape of them more defined by sanding them. I really like Rococo style because of its continuous undulating curves, it is so beautiful that you can not have a reason why you don’t like them.
